Hammonds Plains Historical Society is about to be born!
We are looking for any individuals who would be interested in becoming a director of an historical society for Hammonds Plains. Our area is rich in history and there are some avid history buffs among us who would like to see a museum in our area which would house artifacts from days gone by. One project might be to save the old St. Nicholas Anglican Church on Hammonds Plains Road and perhaps turn that into a museum. We have so many ideas and so many things to discuss. It would be wonderful to preserve our heritage for current and future generations.
